Welcome to the Tulip, a beautiful little guesthouse nestled within the awe inspiring and unparalleled surroundings of the ancient Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. With views across the Marmara sea to the shores of the Asian continent you will at once find yourself immersed in a truly unique and magical atmosphere. Within the heart of the oldest part of the city you will enjoy cozy and clean rooms, wonderful hospitality, fresh Turkish breakfast and all the amenities to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. From our doorstep a short walk down cobble stone streets will bring you into the very center of one of the most fascinating and historically important areas of any of the worlds great cities. The looming architecture of the famous Aya Sophia, the eloquent Blue Mosque, the underground cistern with its subterranean chamber of hundreds of ancient pillars rising from water…….all this within minutes walk of our guesthouse. And here is the gateway to the rest of the city, efficient local transport, wonderful restaurants, and the famous Grand Bazarre. Yes, the magic of Istanbul is before you. At the end of a busy day in this great city, at the Tulip guesthouse, tucked away from the bustle of the city on a quiet street, you will find a relaxing and enjoyable place to come home to.
Our experience)))
Our four weeks spent at the tulip has been the
closest experience yet as travelers, to feeling at home. Calm atmosphere and
truly hospitable hosts have made our Istanbul experience so very comfortable;
leaving us at ease in this lively metropolis. Waking up to a traditional
Turkish breakfast, and so much çay… Mmmmm! Staff have enriched our stay in
Istanbul not only through their generosity, but as well their knowledge of
historical sites, local markets, shopping districts and help riding public
transportation. Spent here a few many evenings on the terrace with fellow
travelers, sharing stories, while Asia’s city lights blink from across the sea,
and the blue mosque, just meters to the west, gives the guest home such a
magical feel. “Clean and cozy” and a generally relaxed environment all-round,
it is the genuinely warm welcoming staff at the tulip that has made our stay in
Istanbul so incredibly pleasant. Thank you!
